Special lunch with Sir Ranulph Fiennes to mark 90th anniversary of club

At the special charity lunch, we will hear from British adventurer and record-breaker, Sir Ranulph, OBE, who will share with us his amazing experiences that span his 40 years as Britain’s most famous explorer.

Fiennes has led 15 expeditions across some of the harshest environments in the world that have raised £14 million for a variety of good causes and in 2010 he was named as the UK’s top celebrity fundraiser by JustGiving.

Sir Ranulph has also written a number of books about his experiences and will be signing copies of his latest book ‘Cold – Extreme Adventures at the Lowest Temperatures on Earth,” for guests at the lunch.

This special anniversary event is also raising money for the Children’s Air Ambulance, with a percentage of the ticket price going to the charity.

Dianne Allen, president of Nottingham City Business Club said: “This is a significant year for the Nottingham City Business Club and we’re hugely honoured that, thanks to the Children’s Air Ambulance, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, is speaking at this special lunch. It promises to be an inspiring afternoon hearing about the amazing achievements of Sir Ranulph.  We’re also delighted that we will raising funds for a charity that provides such a vital national service helping transport ill babies and children.”
