National law firm unveiled as new Nottingham City Business Club sponsor

The firm has offices on Park Row in Nottingham city centre, as well as in London, Peterborough and Stamford and, through its alliance with CastaldiPartners, also in Paris and Milan.

The Nottingham office opened in 2014. They provide a comprehensive range of legal services to both businesses and individuals across the UK and internationally. This includes company commercial law, construction & engineering, employment law, dispute resolution, commercial property, planning law and environmental law.

The Nottingham team is headed by partner and head of the firm’s construction and engineering team, James Coppinger, who began his legal career in the city.

He said: “We are delighted about becoming a sponsor of the Nottingham City Business Club.

“Since opening our office in Nottingham in 2014, we have seen the business expand and our local client base grow and we are hoping that our sponsorship of the club will play a role in helping us to develop further.  The Nottingham City Business Club is a great institution in the city, helping local companies to connect and do business together and we look forward to playing an active role in this thriving network.”

Nottingham City Business Club was established in 1924 and its membership comprises of senior representatives of the local business community.

The club holds monthly lunch meetings for members to meet fellow senior business people in the city, with different prominent guest speakers featuring at each event.

Mark Deakin, president of the club, said: “It is great to see Buckles Solicitors on board as one of our 2017 sponsors. They are a successful growing firm in Nottingham and I’m sure that both parties will benefit from this association.”
