IAN CURRYER, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF NOTTINGHAM CITY COUNCIL TO SPEAK AT JUNE EVENT

His talk will be entitled: Nottingham; A Growing City and will centre around regeneration plans for the City Centre and Southside Area. It will focus on the transformation of public spaces, the opportunities for new Grade A office space and the skills needed to ensure that Nottingham continues to be the fastest growing economy in the East Midlands.

Ian joined Nottingham City Council in 1999, having previously been a head teacher at an inner city school. He went on to become Corporate Director for Children’s Services, and then Chief Executive of Nottingham City Council in 2013.

Ian Curryer, said: “I am looking forward to sharing our exciting plans with members of Nottingham City Business Club. The City Council has a very ambitious programme for the regeneration of the City, and our partnership with business is essential in ensuring that the delivery and outcomes of our projects are successful.”
