Experian Strategic Development Managing Director Guest Speaker At Nottingham City Business Club Lunch

He spoke about the growth of Experian and its future plans. He also shared his thoughts on how Big Data insights on consumers and SMEs can inform businesses of all sizes and outlined what distinguishes Nottingham from the rest of the UK.

“It’s a pleasure to support SMEs, entrepreneurs and innovators in Nottingham and share some insights that could be useful to them,” said Steve Thomas.

The lunch followed a Bank of England roundtable event when Alastair Cunningham, the bank’s agent for the East Midlands sought views from members on a range of issues including growth, price sensitivity and the living wage.

Nic Elliott, president of the Nottingham City Business Club, said: “It was great to be able to facilitate a roundtable event for the Bank of England to enable Alastair to gather views from our members and then to have such a great speaker as Steve, address our guests and share some useful insights.”
