December lunch with Edwina Currie

The main theme of Edwina’s talk was “Growing old disgracefully”. She also delved into her experiences of participating in some of the most successful British exports Including Strictly Come Dancing and I’m a Celebrity.

Edwina went on to explain her involvement in running a Business Club in the High Peak.  In addition she spoke about how pantomime rehearsals are going – she is due to play the Wicked Queen in Snow White at the Memorial Court Theatre in Northwich, Cheshire.

“Our Christmas event has always been very popular, but when we announced that Edwina was going to be our guest speaker, it sold out incredibly fast,” said Nic Elliott, president of the Nottingham City Business Club. “Edwina was a great speaker who captivated the audience.”

The lunch was a great opportunity for guests to meet Edwina and ask questions about her life and experiences as well as to meet with fellow members of the local business community.
