Commercial director at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club confirmed as guest speaker for June lunch

Michael took on his current role in January, moving from The Olympic Stadium where he was head of commercial.  He has a track record of selling out ticketed events and developing long lasting commercial and community partnerships.

Prior to being at the Olympic Stadium, he has worked on a range of major events including The Ashes, the ICC World Twenty 20, Premier League Football, Premiership Rugby, the World Athletics Championships, International Rugby League and major concerts including Guns N Roses’ return to London last Summer.

He is no stranger to Nottingham either, having been Head of Marketing & Communications at Trent Bridge cricket ground from 2008 to 2014.

At the event Michael will talk about lessons learnt from a career in the stadium business and the principles that have enabled Trent Bridge to post a profit in 30 of the past 31 years, amidst a landscape of intense competition.

“It is great to return to Nottingham and re-join a cricket club and venue with such a proud history,” said Michael Temple.  “I’m really looking forward to speaking at the Nottingham City Business Club event.”
