Base 51
Each year, NCBC helps raise much-needed funding and support for a selected local charity. This year we are supporting Base 51.
Base 51 supports Nottingham’s 11-25 year-olds through counselling, group work and 1-2-1 support.
Support includes their emotional health, having settled accommodation, healthy relationships and ultimately making a positive transition to adulthood.
About Base 51
What they do…
Base 51 helps vulnerable young people to build life skills, healthy relationships and resilience to prepare them for the transition to adulthood.
Everybody is welcome to take part in activity sessions, counselling, workshops and much, much more…
Counselling
Their free counselling service allows users to come and talk in a safe, welcoming and confidential space on a 1-2-1 basis.
F-Word
Their group for young women aged 13-24 aims to improve their mental and physical health.
OutBurst
Providing a safe space for LGBTQIA+ 11-14 and 15-19 year-olds including 1-2-1 support, advice and signposting.
YOUCAN
More than just employability – YOUCAN provides 16-24 year-olds with the skills needed to succeed and thrive.
Young Leaders
Giving 16-24 year-olds the chance to run activities and have a say in the decisions we make at Base 51.
Evolution
Free, dedicated counselling for survivors of serious violence aged 11-25 years old.
NGY MyPlace
Universal support delivered through a range of activities and a variety of facilities available for any young person to use.
