Members of the Nottingham City Business Club (NCBC) and invited guests enjoyed an informative talk from Professor Ted Cantle CBE, DL and Heather Mayfield, trustees of the Castle Trust, the organisation directing plans for a £24m investment scheme at Nottingham Castle.

Ted and Heather shared their vision to transform Nottingham’s historic castle into a world-class centre of learning, heritage and culture and provided details about the three themes on which the plans, as influenced by an extensive public consultation,  are based: ‘1000 years of history’, ‘Rebellion and Democracy’ and ‘The Creative City’.
