Welcome to the NCBC website Nottingham City Business Club is the oldest business club outside of London. The Nottingham City Business Club was founded in 1924. The original aims of the NCBC were to “discuss all matters pertaining to the business and social interests of its members”, and to arrange luncheons at which “prominent members” would speak on matters of commercial interest. The key characteristics of the club are unchanged from the founding years. NCBC is more than just another networking event – it aspires to be a vital forum for business in Nottingham, to attract business leaders of influence to meet and debate topics of substance and relevance to the city. The lunch event on the third Friday of each month provides members with the opportunity to network, socialise and listen to a high calibre speaker. Members and guests meet at the stunning, design-led, four-star Park Plaza Hotel for drinks around noon with lunch commencing at 12:30pm, aiming to close around 2:15pm after a question-and-answer session following the speaker.Forthcoming events are displayed on the right hand banner and link to further details. Members may invite guests to NCBC events, and unaccompanied guests are also welcome. Lunches can be booked online by telephone or email, whichever is more convenient. These events are very popular and places are limited so it is important to book early. Please click the 'Book Now' button below the events listed on the right to complete the online booking form. Closing date is the Tuesday morning before each lunch.
